ROOFING FOREMAN (2-3 Years Experience)

Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
Training and mentoring employees as needed
Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment
Meeting company standards for quality and speed (speed of roofing and on time for the job) for all sites
Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
QUALIFICATIONS:
Customer-service skills to communicate with customers, inspectors, and administration to develop a positive working relationship.
Decision-making skills for specific tasks and jobs to meet deadlines and budgets.
Leadership skills for effectively delegating tasks to lower-level workers
Speaking skills for providing clear orders, explaining complex information to clients and co-workers
Time-management skills to meet deadlines and ensure construction phases are completed on time so that the next phase can start.
Writing skills for documenting work progress for management and others involved.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in comp and metal installation
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as foreman
Self-starter
Detail orientated
Team player (willing to do any job big or small)
Able to manage multiple employees that are doing multiple tasks
Goal orientated and able to challenge themselves and others
Strong ability to work independently without supervision
Strong problem-solving abilities and able to come up with solutions

This position will at times include duties such as trash removal, job/truck clean up, truck loading and unloading, packing/hauling job materials, etc. We seek applicants who are willing to perform all tasks necessary to support the team. Position is permanent, full time. We are often able to accommodate flexible schedules based on individual needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Basic roofing knowledge, including but not limited to flat and sloped roof installation methods & comfortable working on high-pitched roofs, ladders and working on high buildings
• Physically able to work in a variety of outdoor elements and weather conditions
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely
• Basic mechanical ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening; drug free workplace.

Roofing Apprentice/Laborer (no experience necessary)
A laborer is a vital team member who assists in the roofing process by tearing off materials, removing roofing debris, preparing work surfaces for installation, and keeping the job site clean and organized. This is a great place to start if you’re interested in the skilled trades! We train laborers as roofing apprentices to become highly skilled roofers, beginning in this position. This position will at times include duties such as trash removal, job/truck clean up, truck loading and unloading, packing/hauling job materials, etc. We seek applicants who are willing to perform all tasks necessary to support the team.
